Children's Liturgy takes place at the 8.30am and 10.30am Masses each Sunday during school term time. These classes are aimed at 4 to 8 year olds, we suggest that children younger than be accompanied by a parent so that classes are not disrupted. There is no Children’s Liturgy during the school holidays.

The children process out of the church after the greeting and go to the school where they have their own Penetential Rite, listen to and interact with Word at their own level. Then they pray the Prayer of the Faithful and return to Church to join their families for the Eucharistic Prayer.

Mainly Music is a Christian based programme with 30 minutes of music aimed at children from birth to 5 years of age and their caregivers. Followed by morning tea and a time of fellowship for children and adults alike.

At St Mary's, our sessions start at 9:30am on Fridays during the school term time and go through until 10:45am. This is an extremely popular programme and the cost is $3.00 per session, per family.

The St. Mary's Community Playgroup welcomes all parents and caregivers of babies and pre-schoolers in our community to gather for companionship and support.
